An expansion pack to Oolite by Giles Williams
Oolite: inspired by ELITE by Ian Bell and David Braben (http://www.oolite.org/)
This OXP adds an enigmatic alien race to the Ooniverse.
These aliens fly gigantic, weird-looking spaceships and trade, as they say: "in information, sometimes esoteric but always accurate" - this is manifested in the Far Traders' stock market: which items they accept and what is available for sale. To trade with the Baakili, approach from behind, they will gate you to their trade area when you're close enough.
Inspired by a charecter found in Paul Neurath's Space Rogue (Origin 1989).
Tested with version 1.73.4 (Test) of Oolite on Windows XP pro SP3 (32 bit). May not work properly in earlier versions.
Installation:
Move or copy the folder "Baakili_Far_Trader_v1.2.oxp" to your AddOns -folder before starting Oolite.
Additional info:
Baakili Far Trader has the role "bigTrader" in the role set, so it can be summoned by the Big Ships OXP. Even then the Baakili will behave in their own way.

1.2 - this version
- fixed problems that prevented the use of custom commodities.plist
- now the Baakili gets unique commodity market as intended, both when spawned by the OXP's own populator script and as bigTrader by the Big Ships OXP

- fixed shipdata (prevented the ship's appearance 2 times out of 3)
- replaced the populator script with a javascript one
